Give the Gift of Turkey Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away.  Donating $10 today can ensure a family here in Westmoreland County has a turkey on their table come Nov 26.  This year we have to do even more.  With plant closings and people still being laid off, we already know that the need may be greater than in any previous year of the Food Bank's history. Volunteers Needed WCFB is in need of volunteers to cover 2 hour shifts (between 10 AM - 4 PM on Oct 31 - Nov 1 and Nov 7-8) during the Fall FoodShare Food Drive, sponsored by Giant Eagle stores.  Stores requiring volunteers are located in the following areas:  Greensburg, Latrobe, Irwin, Belle Vernon, West Newton, Harrison City, New Kensington, Leechburg and Ligonier. Individuals, families and groups are welcome to participate.
